The websites below provide a wealth of information at many different levels. In addition to information on the site there are videos, news articles, courses with quizzes and links to other sites. Some sites also include posters, checklists, cards and other resources to download.  

Centers for Disease Control: Main Site
This site provides the most up-to-date information about concussions for medial professionals, coaches, teachers, athletes and parents. It has many resources to use online and others to download.

Centers for Disease Control: Schools
This part of the site provides information specific to concussions in schools. It has information for teachers, school counselors, school nurses and other school professionals. There is also a section for parents. It emphasizes that not all concussions are a result of playing sports in school.

Centers for Disease Control: High Schools
This part of the site provides is deals specifically with athletes playing sports in school. It emphasizes the benefits of playing sports and playing safely. Information is tailored to coaches, athletes and parents.

Centers for Disease Control: Youth Sports
One of the "weak links" in the recognition and management of concussions can be the youth sports participation outside of school. It is important that all coaches of youth sports be aware of the problem. These coaches should be trained the same way coaches are in schools. This part of the site is dedicated to the youth sports network.

National Federation of Sate High School Associations
This site covers everything pertaining to high school sports in America. It offers a free, short course on concussions with an evaluation at the end. Other parts of the site have interesting information including what is required for coaching certification in all 50 states.

New York State Public High School Athletic Association
This site has links to other websites with information about concussions. It also has several resources that can be downloaded.

ImPACT is acknowledged by many medical professionals as the certification to have for dealing with sports related concussions. This site describes the training but also offers information about concussions and will allow visitors to find an ImPACT certified doctor in their area.
