Anonymous Alerts FAQ

What is Anonymous Alerts?

The Anonymous Alerts anti-bullying and safety reporting system helps combat bullying and other negative activity in schools by empowering students to speak up. Social and peer pressure are some of the hardest obstacles for students to overcome.

The system allows for one-way or two-way anonymous encrypted communications between submitters (students, family members or community members) and district administration and/or school staff. Users of the system have the option to remain anonymous or reveal their identity when submitting a report.

How does it work?

Administrators receive the tips via the report via a form submitted via mobile app or computer. The report will then be investigated or action taken as appropriate.

Computer users may visit https://tips.anonymousalerts.com/libertycsd/ to start a report.

Mobile users can download the app by searching for “Anonymous Alerts” on the Apple Store, Google Play store, or the Chrome store and activate the app by using the code libertycsd.

Reports are sent using a form available online. When sending a tip, submitters select from a drop-down list of common issues they may be facing and then enter the tip message. If they have an image related to the tip, there is an option to attach it to the message. If tip submitters want to include contact information, there are fields that allow them to do so.

When can the system be used?

The system is not for reporting issues that will need immediate assistance. It will be monitored between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays. Any reports submitted outside of these hours or during holidays will be responded to during the following normally scheduled school day.

If this is an emergency requiring immediate assistance, please call 911 or the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.
