• GeoTech will soon conduct testing for the capital project, which will cause sections of the Liberty Middle/High School campus to be unavailable for use at those times. On Oct. 3 and 4, testing will occur on the track, and on Oct. 7 and 8, testing will take place by the softball field and Winthrop parking lot. LHS NHS to host 5K walk to benefit Fearless!, Ride2Survive

LHS National Honor Society will host a 5K walk on Sunday, Oct. 13.

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., with the walk starting at 9:30 a.m. on the high school track. The cost will be $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.

The event will raise awareness about cancer and domestic violence with proceeds to benefit Fearless! Hudson Valley Inc. and Ride2Survive Sullivan County, Inc.

There will be a collection of non-perishable food items and full sized toiletries for the Fearless! food pantry and there will be a Tricky Tray to benefit Ride2Survive.
