LCSD students to be featured at Sullivan 180 event
Students from Liberty will be taking part in Sullivan 180’s “Evening of Appreciation” on Thursday, Sept. 26.
The event will take place at the Event Gallery in Bethel Woods, with doors opening at 5:30 pm, and the program starting at 6:30 pm.
The program will feature performances by Danza Folclórica Metztli Tonatiuh de la Iglesia de San Pedro Liberty, NY (Folkloric Dance of the Sun and Moon of the Church of St. Peter, Liberty) and Orgullo Mixteco Infantil, of which several Liberty Central School District students are members. Additional entertainment will be provided by Nesin Cultural Arts and music by Jon Zanger.
The event will highlight and acknowledge the grassroots efforts of Sullivan County community volunteers, schools, municipalities, partners, and the broader community.
